You can get a jump start on any of our Spring Dance Classes by scheduling a Private Dance Lesson prior to the Dance Classes starting or any time during that month.  You can select the dance(s) that you feel you need the most help with or you can learn a dance that is new to you.  Email or call today to schedule yours.....dates & times will vary and Private Dance Lessons are a great way to improve in a single dance, your overall dancing ability and giving you more confidence on the dance floor.

    • Do I need a partner?

You do not need a partner for our Group Dance Classes - both Singles & Couples are welcome as we rotate partners during our Dance Classes.

    • Can I take a class to just try it?

We feel everyone needs a minimum of 4 weeks to understand and earn a style of dance so we do not offer Group Classes on a trial basis.

If you want to take a Private Lesson to see if you like a certain dance style or see if you would like to learn more dancing, you can schedule a 30 minute Private Lesson for $35.

    • Do you have a place to practice?

We offer a Practice each month for our dancers to practice what they are learning and to ask questions about dances they are learning or moves they are unsure of.

We host Dancing & Chocolate Practice Dance at The Chocolate Bar, 116 W Third Street, from 7:00 - 9:30 usually on the 4th Thursday of each month and we play a variety of Latin, Swing, Country & Tango music.  The Chocolate Bar offers signature chocolates & desserts as well as great coffees and signature martinis, wine & craft beers.  This is always a fun evening and we hope you join us for this special night of dancing and support The Chocolate Bar in downtown Grand Island.  There is no cover charge at The Chocolate Bar so please support them with your purchase of beverages and/or desserts.

    • How do I register?

Please email me a request for a registration form - danceseps5678@gmail.com
We do not accept Credit Cards so we do not have online registration.  Once you have completed the registration form, please mail it, with your payment, to - DanceSteps, 607 Linden Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68801 or you can bring the form with you the first night you attend Dance Classes.

    • Can I call you?

Absolutely, you can call to discuss what we are teaching, the kind of shoes you should wear, appropriate clothing for Dance Classes, etc - my cell phone # is 308-380-6073

You can also email me at dancesteps5678@gmail.com

    • Do we need special shoes?

We recommend dance shoes for dancing, they are lighter weight, have a sueded leather sole and are comfortable for dancing, turning, etc

We understand that you may not want to invest in dance shoes initially, so we recommend that you wear a smooth sole shoe - preferably leather, bowling shoes, cowboy boots, etc

sneakers, lug sole shoes, open back shoes or anything with a rubber sole
